Imogen T.
Imogen T. Liu is a political economist whose research interests cover state capital, Chinese political economy, financial markets and investment regulation. She has presented her research to the European Commission and written for various media including the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds and the Leiden International Review. She is currently a PhD candidate on the European Research Council–funded project SWFsEUROPE hosted by Maastricht University, where her dissertation focuses on the drivers of Chinese outbound state-owned capital. She began her career as an editor at Penguin Random House.
