Jana de Kluiver is a political economist and strategy advisor specialising in Africa’s place in the global economy. Her work focuses on debt, investment and the political dynamics that shape the continent’s development choices. She has written on Africa’s external partnerships, the governance of international finance, and the challenges of mobilising capital for infrastructure, industry and the energy transition. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of the Free State, South Africa.
