Jinita Prasad
Jinita Prasad is a financial sector consultant who has been working with a number of development partners and programs focussing on impact investment, blended finance, gender lens investing and more recently climate finance across the Pacific Island economies.
Jinita Prasad is a financial sector consultant who has been working with a number of development partners and programs focussing on impact investment, blended finance, gender lens investing and more recently climate finance across the Pacific Island economies. Over the years, she has worked on assignments with Asian Development Bank, Pacific Private Sector Development Initiative, UN Capital Development Fund and Criterion Institute as well as on programs funded by Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on MSME entrepreneurship development, access to finance and supporting institutional capacity in the region.
She currently serves on the boards of VB Holdings Ltd, a publicly listed company in Fiji and Urgent Action Fund Asia and Pacific which supports the resilience and resistance of women and non-binary human right defenders. She also serves on several advisory boards including Pacific Feminist Fund and has previously held senior management roles in the financial sector including the role of the CEO for South Pacific Stock Exchange in Fiji.
