Tom Barber is a policy analyst and researcher with a focus on Australian statecraft and global risks.
He was most recently a senior policy analyst at the Asia-Pacific Development, Diplomacy & Defence Dialogue (AP4D), with prior positions at La Trobe Asia and Deakin University. Tom has coauthored chapters on strategic imagination and diplomatic innovation, and his commentary appears in outlets including The Interpreter, The Mandarin, The Diplomat, East Asia Forum, The Strategist and Devpolicy. He holds a Master of International Security from the University of Sydney.
