2019 Lowy Lecture: Hon Scott Morrison MP
On Thursday 3 October 2019, Prime Minister Scott Morrison delivered the annual Lowy Lecture at Sydney Town Hall. Lowy Institute Executive Director Dr Michael Fullilove introduces the evening, and Lowy Institute Chairman Sir Frank Lowy introduces the Prime Minister. Following the lecture, Dr Fullilove conducts a short interview with the Prime Minister. Lowy Institute board member Penny Wensley delivers the vote of thanks to close the evening. Titled “In Our Interests”, the lecture sets out Prime Minister Morrison’s conviction that effective international action on big global issues comes from nation states co-operating freely.
