Address by Senator the Hon Tim Ayres
Australia's Minister for Industry and Innovation, and Minister for Science, Senator Tim Ayres, delivered an address before the Lowy Institute on Tuesday 2 December 2025.
The Minister spoke on the Albanese Government’s Industry, Innovation and Science agenda, including how Australia can adopt and implement AI in ways that serve Australia’s national interest. After his remarks, the Lowy Institute's Executive Director Dr Michael Fullilove AM chaired a Q&A session with the Minister.
