In conversation: Rory Medcalf on the results on the India-Australia Poll 2013
On 20 May 2013 the Lowy Institute and Australia India Institute published the ground-breaking India Poll 2013, which looks at how Indians view a wide range of foreign policy and security challenges, and how these connect to vital domestic policy questions relating to India's future.
In this interview, Rory Medcalf discusses the results of the joint poll of Indian attitudes towards Australia. Rory notes the 'general warmth' towards Australia revealed in the survey (0:25), before highlighting some lessons governments and commentators could take from the poll's findings (3:00). Finally, Rory answers the obligatory questions about cricket (3:18) and uranium (3:57).
