Dr Minran Liu is a Lecturer in the School of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Queensland.
He is currently a Member-at-Large of the Executive Committee of the International Studies Association (ISA) Asia-Pacific. He is a Research Associate at the Second Cold War Observatory, an Adjunct Fellow at the Australia-China Relations Institute (ACRI) at the University of Technology Sydney, and an Honorary Member of the China Studies Centre at the University of Sydney. Before joining UQ, he was a Lecturer in International & Political Studies at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, UNSW Canberra. He also served as a Lecturer in International Relations in the Discipline of Government and International Relations at the University of Sydney, where he was the Degree Director of the Master of International Security program. He has extensive experience in professional education and regularly provides commentary on politics and international relations to broader public audiences through Australian and international media outlets.
