Takuma Matsu is a Research Fellow at the Sasakawa Peace Foundation in Tokyo, Japan.
He specialises in multilateral security cooperation and Indo-Pacific defence policy, particularly functional and operational approaches to coordination and deterrence. He previously served in the Japan Ground Self-Defence Force. Takuma holds a Master of Arts (International Relations) from Sophia University, Japan.
